Modifying unwanted synchronization actions |
Sometimes you unintendently had deleted a file, and you don't even want this action to be reproduced on the other computer. Thus it is neccessary that you are able to modify the actions that Syncoco suggests ..
Please note first: You can modify the actions only in the synchronization list! Once you have performed a synchronization and you have unintentionally overwritten or removed some files, there is no way to get them back!
A copy action indicates that the file exists on the foreign computer, but don't exist on this computer. The action will copy the file from the foreign computer to this computer.
You can not modify copy actions. If you temporary don't want to copy some files, simply don't select them in the synchronization list. If you have such files frequently, consider to exclude them by a file filter.
An overwrite action indicates that the file was modified on the foreign computer, and is unmodified on this computer. The action will overwrite the file on this computer with the file from the foreign computer.
You can modify overwrite to the following:
A remove action indicates that the file was deleted on the foreign computer, and is unmodified on this computer. The action will remove the file from this computer also.
You can modify remove actions to the following:
